IVG Smart Max Review: 10,000 Puffs of Flavour Switching Fun

The IVG Smart Max is one of the most ambitious Big Puff devices of 2026. While most competitors give you one flavour per device, the Smart Max delivers around 10,000 puffs with a smart display and a flavour experience that keeps things interesting. We put it through two weeks of heavy testing.

Design and Build

The Smart Max is chunky. There is no hiding the size needed for 10,000 puffs. But the build quality is excellent, the smart screen shows battery and liquid levels clearly, and it feels premium in hand. It is a stay at home or bag device, not a jeans pocket one. How It Works

Like other Big Puff systems, it uses a 2ml pod with a 10ml auto refill reservoir. The difference is scale and smarts: a large capacity battery with USB-C charging, a clear display, and consistent output until the liquid runs out. Our disposable alternatives guide explains the technology.

Flavour Quality

IVG’s flavours are among the best in the business. Blue Raspberry, Fizzy Cherry, and Classic Menthol all taste clean and strong. The mesh coil keeps flavour consistent across the device’s long life. It does not quite match the Lost Mary BM6000 for pure flavour intensity, but it is very close.

Battery and Longevity

The big battery easily lasts two days of heavy use. The display removes all guesswork about when to charge or when liquid is running low. In testing, we got just over 9,500 puffs, close to the claimed 10,000.

Cost Per Puff

At £15 to £18 for 10,000 puffs, the Smart Max costs under £1.80 per 1,000 puffs. That is the cheapest legal vaping in the UK right now. The October 2026 vape tax will add a few pounds, but it stays excellent value.

Drawbacks

Size is the main one. It is twice the bulk of the BM6000. And if you get bored of one flavour, you are committed for a long time. The IVG 2400 with its 4 pod rotation solves that if variety matters more to you.

Verdict

The IVG Smart Max earns 8.5/10. Unbeatable value per puff, great flavours, and a useful smart display. Best for heavy vapers who want maximum longevity. Read more reviews, compare with our best vapes 2026, and check deals for prices.
